.Abstract
This experiment was done during the dry seasson to evaluate the effectivity of biological insecticides with base on Bacillus thuringiensis Berliner in the managment of Plutella xylostella in the cabbage crop. The experimental design used was of complete blocks at random with four repetitions. The commercial productos and doses evaluated were: Javelin 6.4% WG (1.0 kg/ha); Javelin 6.4% WG (0.5 kg/ha + Pinolene); Thuricide HP (0.5 kg/ha), Dipel 2X (0.5 kg/ha). farmer's witness: Cipermetrina (0.5 lt/ha) + Cipermetrina/profenofos (0.5 lt/ha) and the witness neither biocides nor insecticides. The parameters evaluated were: diameter of harvested heads, percentage of damage, degree of damage and the commercial output of the cabbage. With the applications of Javelin 6.4% WG were obtained the lowest percentages of damage on the cabbage crop, as well as a low level of damage, surpassing statistically the rest of the treatments. The biocide Dipel 2X (0.5 lt/ha) produced the higest net utilities with the lowest variable costs.
