Abstract

In the district of Baru, province of Chiriqui, it was evaluated the efficiency of three treatments over the control of the black sigatoka: ANVIL 100 EC/OL (0.075, 0.100 and 0.125 kg i.a./ha), the commercial witness TILT (0.100 kg i.a./ha), and the absolute witness (without fungicide). The treatments were applied baginning the third month after the planting in emulsion with agricultural oil and water, at 21 days of intervals doing a total of six applications. It was used the random design blocks (BCR), with five treatments and four repetitions. The evaluations were done each 15 days using the Stover and Dickson Scale modified. Once the study finished, it could be concluded that statiscally were not showed differences in the effect of ANVIL in its formulations of 10 and 25% of emulsified concentrated, in the evaluated dose over the efficiency to the control of the black sigatoka; and that the behavior of this product was similar to the commercial witness (TILT 25%).
